i’ve seen those guards knocked off pritty easy tbh but the beams are pritty solid that the forklift doesn’t have enough power to do much damage to them.

I agree I work at a grocery market and we have the steal guards at all corners theres nothing knockin those down anytime soon
The rack support beams, should have steel heavy guards protecting them from being hit, especially the end corners. Plus the weight of those pallets. Ive hit a protective plate or 2 or 3……….Why do you think the Lifts are all F*%# ED up in the back…..

Yea… this is what you get for $12 an hour too. Millions in damaged. Get a real worker! Real workers want a real pay. Skilled labor doesn’t work for $12 an hour. And I’ll challenge any fool on the net to do what I do in a day on a forklift as fast and as safe me that thinks otherwise.
as a dude that used to drive all sorts of forks all i can say is …… ya pay nuts and ya get a monkey …. the dude that was driving this truck had alcohol consumed too … any driver worth his salt wouldnt make such a mistake …. great video btw

pay a certified forklift operator a minimum of $22.50 an hour?? You’re high. It took me two days to get fork certification. The janitor that works for my company works harder then all the fork operators put together. $12 at the most, wouldn’t pay anymore, if they hit something, fire them. If $12 isn’t enough, get a real job.

Employers hire these drivers offering them 9 or 10 bucks an hr
